6090 Food Printer FAQ

1. How long can the printed edible image stay good at room temperature? will the printed image fade under refrigeration?

— The shelf life mainly depends on your food substrate and storage environment.
When printed on icing sheets or wafer paper under dry, cool room temperature (20–25°C, low humidity), the edible image can normally keep vivid for 3–7 days. High temperature and humidity will shorten this period and cause smudging.

For refrigeration: If sealed properly, the pattern generally will not fade. But condensation inside packaging is the main risk. Water droplets may make the colors bleed or blur. We recommend sealing the printed food tightly before putting it into the fridge, and avoid direct contact with cold moisture.

— The real max printing size is 60*90cm (=W*L=23.62*35.43”), max thickness is 20cm. We also can help you custom the max thickness according to your requirements.

— Printer with max printing resolution 2880*1440dpi, but we always use 1440*720dpi for printing, it is enough for printing with high clear image on food surface even the human face.

— If you just print CMYK color, most JPEG,PNG,JPG,TIFF etc is okay for printing, but TIFF is necessary when we are going to print with white ink. So, the best image format is TIFF format, and our technician team will guide you how to save this format for printing.

— Yes, we can print on the curve food surface, however the max height difference can not over 5mm, otherwise the printing quality will not be perfect.
